President's Message on Recent Communications from Student Leadership
Dear Members of Student Government and The Black Round Table,
Thank you for your advocacy for racial equity and inclusion on campus. Thank you also for meeting with Vice President for Equity, Inclusion and Community Impact Bleuzette Marshall, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs Chris Lewis and Assistant Director for Equity and Inclusion Dy’an Marinos on Friday to discuss your ideas. I understand from Dr. Marshall that you wanted to hear directly from me. To that end, please know that I am committed to ensuring our university community is welcoming and nurturing to all. Each of us has a role to play in making sure our campus is a place where every person counts, and to become our best as a university community, we must draw on the best in all of us. We look forward to continuing the conversation and advancing our partnership.
Warm regards,
Neville G. Pinto
