In an interview with Spectrum 1 News, UC's political scientist Richard Harknett speaks to several reasons that early voting centers in Ohio are seeing triple the amount from voters from this time four years ago.
"They were open to changing the modality by which they vote. The second it tells me that, particularly from the Democratic Party, that their get out of the vote messaging is generally working" says Harknett.
Harknett is a professor and head of UC’s Department of Political Science, co-director of the Ohio Cyber Range Institute, and chair of the Center for Cyber Strategy and Policy at the University of Cincinnati.
