UC alumna Hon. Heather Russell named Enquirer Woman of the Year
Congratulations to the Hon. Heather S. Russell, University of Cincinnati College of Law, ‘83, named a 2020 Enquirer Woman of the Year. Over the past 50 years the Cincinnati Enquirer, along with cincinnati.com more recently, has recognized more than 400 women who have changed the Greater Cincinnati tri-state community for the better.
Judge Russell, Hamilton County Municipal Court, was recognized for her advocacy work on behalf of human trafficking victims which led to the creation of the CHANGE Court program. The acronym CHANGE stands for Changing Habits And Setting New Goals is Empowering. CHANGE Court offers women treatment for trauma and addiction, assistance with basic needs, places to live, record expungement, job training and more.
