'The College Tour' highlights universities around the country, UC's episode premiered Feb. 8
The Amazon Prime series “The College Tour,” highlighting colleges and universities around the country, features UC in its upcoming season. UC’s episode premiered Feb. 8.
In each episode of “The College Tour,” high school students and other viewers can virtually travel across America for an inside look at colleges and universities. Hosted by “Amazing Race” winner Alex Boylan, each episode of “The College Tour” highlights an institution through the eyes of its students, faculty and alumni, providing prospective students with an authentic look at life on campus.
Jack Miner, vice provost for enrollment managament at UC, says that especially during the pandemic, programs like these allow students to virtually travel to campus and make informed decisions about where they want to go.
WXIX, FOX19, and WLWT, Channel 5, also covered UC's episode of The College Tour.
Miles Spearman is one of 10 students and alumni featured. A Boardman native, he was interviewed by WKBN-TV, Channel 27, in Youngstown about his experience filming the episode.
