Hoxworth celebrates March with exclusive gift for donors
Hoxworth Blood Center is celebrating the month of March with exclusive 3-in-1 tumbler/koozies for all donors.
Donors who roll up a sleeve at a Hoxworth Neighborhood Donor Center March 4-25 will receive an exclusive 3-in-1 tumbler that fits bottles, cans, and beverages.
“As the only steward of the local blood supply, Hoxworth needs at least 450 individuals to donate blood every day to support local patients,” said Alecia Lipton, director of public relations at Hoxworth Blood Center. “This March, we’re inviting all eligible donors to roll up a sleeve and share their wealth of good health to someone in need in our community.”
Hoxworth serves over 30 hospitals in the Tri-State area, according to Lipton, and donors are always needed — because “it’s the blood that is on the shelf that will be used to save lives in an emergency.”
To schedule a donation, call Hoxworth at 513-451-0910 or visit www.hoxworth.org. Appointments are encouraged to maintain proper social distancing, and masks are required of all donors.
