Scholarship to support students from Ukraine, Russia

Blue Ash-based InfoTrust establishes fund to help students affected by war

A Greater Cincinnati company has established a scholarship for international students at the University of Cincinnati affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Cincinnati Business Courier reported.

InfoTrust, a tech company headquartered in Blue Ash, Ohio, has established the InfoTrust Foundation Scholarship Fund at UC. The scholarship will support students from Ukraine or Russia who have been directly affected by the Russia-Ukraine war.

The company is working in partnership with the UC Foundation for the soon-to-be annual scholarship. A total dollar amount hasn’t been finalized.

InfoTrust’s co-founders are from Ukraine, and a number of InfoTrust team members have relatives in Ukraine and Russia.

“This war is personal to me,” InfoTrust CEO Alex Yastrebenetsky said. “My parents just recently were able to get out of Ukraine themselves, so I want to do everything I can to help others, especially students, who may be in a similar situation.”
