CCM students take the stage at The Carnegie in Northern Kentucky this summer
The Carnegie Summer Theatre Series features the talents of nearly 20 CCM students and faculty
What do a cast of classic children's characters, a Pulitzer Prize-winning musical and the tale of an immigrant who would become one of the biggest bootleggers (and local legends) in history all have in common? They’ll all be making their way to The Carnegie in Northern Kentucky this summer with nearly 20 CCM students, alumni and faculty members in the cast and crew.
The Carnegie's Summer Theatre Series features three shows running in a repertory format from June 18 through Aug. 28: Into the Woods, Rent and George Remus: A New Musical. "We have an absolutely fabulous lineup of shows this summer that truly offer a little something for everyone," said Maggie Perrino, Theater Director for The Carnegie. "From fairytale characters to a local bootlegging legend, our Summer Season showcases the talent we’re honored to feature on our stage."
The talent featured on The Carnegie's stage this summer includes CCM students August Bagg, Ranease Brown, Eliza Levy, Madison Mosley, Sarah Jane Nelson, Sarah Pansing, Nicholas Pattarini, Sean Polk II, Jackson Reagin, Julia Schick and Jamal Stone, along with recent graduate Tyler Martin.
The Carnegie Summer Theatre Series' production teams also include CCM faculty members Darnell Pierre Benjamin, Eric Byrd, Stephen Goers and Katie Johannigman, along with MFA Lighting Design and Technology student Kristen Peck.
