UC Alert: Tornado Warning Clermont County - Take Shelter

Tornado Warning issued July 6 at 3:07PM EDT until July 6 at 3:30PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...

Northeastern Clermont County in southwestern Ohio...

Northwestern Brown County in southwestern Ohio...

* Until 330 PM EDT.

* At 306 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Loveland, moving southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.

Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...

Mount Orab, Woodville, Owensville, Goshen, Newtonsville, Fayetteville, St. Martin, Chasetown, Greenbush, State Route 32 at US Route 68, Springvale, Edenton, Lake Lorelei, Day Heights and Mount Repose.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

Tornado Warning issued July 6 at 3:09PM EDT until July 6 at 3:30PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH At 309 PM EDT, a confirmed tornado was located 8 miles southeast of Loveland, moving southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado. Radar shows tornado debris in the air.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is likely.

Locations impacted include...

Mount Orab, Woodville, Owensville, Goshen, Newtonsville, Fayetteville, St. Martin, Chasetown, Greenbush, State Route 32 at US Route 68, Springvale, Edenton, Lake Lorelei, Day Heights and Mount Repose.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is likely.

Woodville, Newtonsville, Fayetteville, St. Martin, Chasetown, Edenton and Lake Lorelei.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is likely.

UC Alert: Tornado Warning Clermont County - Take Shelter

Tornado Warning issued July 6 at 3:32PM EDT until July 6 at 3:30PM EDT by NWS Wilmington OH The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been cancelled. However, damaging winds remain likely and a Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM EDT for southwestern Ohio.
