Emergency UC Alert: Tornado Warning Clermont County - Take Shelter

Tornado Warning issued March 3 at 5:03PM EST until March 3 at 5:30PM EST by NWS Wilmington OH
The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Southeastern Clermont County in southwestern Ohio...
Northwestern Brown County in southwestern Ohio...

* Until 530 PM EST.

* At 502 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Bethel, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree
damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
Mount Orab, Bethel, Williamsburg, Hamersville, Fayetteville,
Chasetown, Greenbush, Saltair, East Fork State Park, Nicholsville,
State Route 32 at US Route 68, Point Isabel, Bantam, New Hope,
Locust Ridge and Lake Lorelei.
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

At 512 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Williamsburg, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
likely.
