DTS Hosts Successful Conference on Artificial Intelligence

Hundreds of University of Cincinnati students, faculty and staff members turned out to for the Digital Technology Solutions AI Symposium on Feb. 21.

The day-long event at Tangeman University Center explored topics around AI in education, learning technologies, research, innovation, ethics, policy, and social impact. It was well attended with over 400 registrants. 

Highlights included:

  • Morning keynote presentation from UC’s Brian H. Rowe Endowed Chair in aerospace engineering Kelly Cohen.
  • Afternoon keynote presentation from Chief Technology Officer and AI leader at Synchrony Financial Greg Simpson. 
  • Sixteen breakout sessions led by UC students, faculty and staff from several colleges and units across the university. 

The AI Symposium was presented as part of UC Digital Technology Solutions’ Digital Awareness Series. Each event explores cutting-edge emerging technologies with thought leaders at the university and in our community.

The Symposium proved to be an excellent opportunity for many to share their expertise, network with peers, and contribute to the digital transformation happening at UC.
