UC to host paper shredding event on Bearcat Commons

The University of Cincinnati's Office of Information Security is hosting its annual “Secure Our World” Shred Event at Bearcat Commons Lot A behind A&S Hall on Wednesday, April 17, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until the truck is full. Drop off your professional or personal documents to ensure they are securely destroyed and recycled.

Please note: All metal, including paper clips and hanging file folders must be removed in advance; staples are permissible. Plastic also needs to be removed — comb bindings, transparencies, Polaroid pictures, Tyvek envelopes. Anything that cannot be torn is not acceptable.

View more Shred Event details on the Shredding page of OIS’s website.
