Hoxworth Blood Center partners with local breweries
Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, is brewing up exciting blood donation opportunities this summer, partnering with local breweries throughout the Tri-State.
Now through the end of June, Hoxworth Blood Center will be visiting more than 15 local breweries with their mobile blood donation bus to provide unique opportunities to support the community through blood donation while also supporting local businesses.
“We know one thing that Cincinnati loves, and that is beer,” said Jackie Marschall, Hoxworth spokesperson. “And we also know that the greater Cincinnati community has a culture of giving back, so we’re excited to be able to combine both of those things for our Hoxworth donors this summer.”
Donors will receive a thank you gift from Hoxworth plus a gift from partners where applicable.
The blood donation process takes about one hour from arrival to post-donation snacks and will include a donor health questionnaire and mini physical.
