UC student breaks down U.S. election results for Turkish newspaper

A University of Cincinnati political science graduate student broke down the election results for the Turkish news service Anadolu Ajansi.

UC School of Public and International Affairs doctoral student Bekir Ilhan explained the campaign issues and stakes for Republicans and Democrats going into Election Night and shared some of the prevailing theories for why Republicans prevailed.

Ilhan is a graduate of Yildiz Technical University Istanbul and earned a master's degree at Sabanci University Istanbul.
