If you can’t make it to this drive, we are celebrating Valentine’s Day with a special gift for all donors. Donors who give blood or platelets at any of our seven neighborhood donor centers on Friday, Feb. 14, will receive a "You're My Type" fleece blanket, while supplies last. This bonus gift also honors National Donor Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of blood, organ and tissue donation. Just last year, Hoxworth’s Transplant Immunology Division was part of 642 organ transplants.
