This annual event showcases the best boys and girl’s hoops in Cincinnati Public Schools and has quickly become one of Cincinnati Public Schools’ signature athletic events, explains Dr. Lori Wright, director of CPS Strong at the University of Cincinnati.
“This event also underscores our commitment to the district through our CPS Strong Partnership,” says Wright. “CPS Strong is our university-wide strategic partnership that focuses on recruitment, retention, and graduation for CPS graduates attending the University of Cincinnati. It is our firm belief that our city is only as strong as our public schools. This visible and fruitful partnership has allowed us to create opportunities that support college readiness, access, and student success.”
