A Bearcat For Life Story

Choosing UC felt like coming home, and I am grateful for the opportunity to create my own path while carrying on a family legacy.

Attending the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Starting at UC Blue Ash gave me the opportunity to build a strong academic foundation in a supportive environment while also taking advantage of the resources and opportunities available throughout the University of Cincinnati. The smaller class sizes and close relationships with faculty helped me grow both academically and personally, preparing me for the next steps in my education and career.

Working with CECH IT has allowed me to gain valuable hands-on experience in technology while developing my problem-solving, communication and customer service skills. Supporting students, faculty and staff with technical issues has shown me how essential technology is to education and has strengthened my passion for working in information technology. Every challenge has been an opportunity to learn something new and continue growing professionally.

As a woman in STEM, I take pride in contributing to a field where women have historically been underrepresented. That motivates me to continue learning, developing my skills and serving as an example for other young women who may be considering careers in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. Representation matters, and I hope my journey encourages others to pursue their interests with confidence, regardless of stereotypes or barriers.

Having parents who are Bearcats also played a significant role in my decision to attend UC. Growing up, I heard countless stories about their experiences and saw firsthand the pride they have in being part of the Bearcat family. Their connection to the university inspired me to create my own path while continuing a family tradition. Choosing UC felt like coming home, and I am grateful for the opportunity to build my own experiences while carrying on a legacy that means so much to my family.

Overall, my time at the University of Cincinnati has been defined by growth, community and opportunity. From UC Blue Ash and campus involvement to professional experience and my journey as a woman in STEM, each experience has helped shape who I am today and prepared me for the future.

That is why I am proud to be a Bearcat for Life.
