Sarah Jessica Parker calls hometown Cincinnati a 'very impressive, exciting city'
SJP spoke about growing up in Cincinnati during an interview on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast
During an appearance on the podcast "Call Her Daddy," Sarah Jessica Parker gave a shoutout to Cincinnati, calling it a "very impressive, exciting city." SJP grew up in Cincinnati with her parents and siblings, and even had some formative experiences at CCM, before moving to New York when she was 11.

"We go back to Cincinnati all the time," she said. "It is a very impressive, exciting city and it is beautiful."
She talked about theaters she enjoyed visiting — like Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, where her father worked as a stage manager, and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. SJP attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts during her elementary school years, and also took classes at CCM Prep.
In 2014, Sarah Jessica Parker recalled her time with CCM Professor of Dance David Blackburn, telling dance writer and critic Janet Light, "My time with Mr. Blackburn shaped my life in ways I could never have known at the time, but recognize every day in my grown-up endeavors."

"I loved going to the theater," SJP explained in her appearance on "Call Her Daddy." "Cincinnati has a really incredible theater called the Playhouse in the Park... and the University of Cincinnati: their Conservatory has a really incredible theatre department. We went to the ballet all the time. There was a lot of opportunities to be outside."
