UC Blue Ash has a new look as enrollment continues to grow

The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College features newly renovated spaces and an exciting addition to its campus as it welcomes students to the start of the fall semester.

There are more than 4,800 students enrolled at the college this fall, reflecting an expected increase of more than 7 percent over last year’s total. This marks the fourth year in a row that the college has experienced a jump in student enrollment.

This growth can be attributed to a consistent dedication to supporting student success. In fact, UC Blue Ash earned national recognition as an Opportunity College in the Carnegie Classifications of Institutions of Higher Education earlier this year. That designation noted the college’s excellence in providing high access for students while preparing them to achieve high earnings as compared to regional peers.

Major renovations and a new addition

Students are enjoying a new and improved UC Blue Ash campus that includes a new, three-story atrium that expands Muntz Hall by nearly 6,000 square feet. The atrium provides a beautiful new main entrance to the building and serves as a modern space where students can meet, study or just take a break between classes.

It also features five new study rooms that students can reserve for group study projects. Other updates in Muntz Hall include a new location and completely renovated space for the Student Life & Success office, as well as a new Student Services wing that provides a central location for important resources like academic advising, career services, counseling and enrollment services, which helps students with information about billing, financial aid and scholarships.

Across campus in Walters Hall is the newly renovated Dental Hygiene Clinic. Crews worked over the summer to install 30 new dental chairs, as well as dental care equipment and software to create a state-of-the-art clinic that enhances learning opportunities for students and prepares them to transition to even the most advanced dental offices when they begin their career.

UC Blue Ash offers more than 50 academic programs and an authentic University of Cincinnati education with bachelor’s and associate degrees, certificate programs, a wide range of micro-credential courses and in-person and online options. Over the past few years, the college has added new degree programs in artificial intelligence, health care support technology and radiation imaging technology. New offerings this year include an online associate degree program in hospitality management.
