UC College of Nursing climbs into the top 20 Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs

The University of Cincinnati College of Nursing continues to be recognized among the nation’s top schools for online graduate nursing education. In the 2026 U.S. News & World Report rankings, UC Nursing is ranked No. 19 Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs, placing the college among the top programs nationwide and No. 3 in Ohio.

The No. 19 ranking reflects a 17-spot rise through the past two years, underscoring the college’s sustained momentum and commitment to academic quality, innovation and student success. UC Nursing is also ranked No. 8 Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs for Veterans.

For prospective students, these rankings signal more than prestige. They reflect a learning experience grounded in academic rigor, expert faculty and student-centered support. More than two-thirds of UC Nursing’s graduate students learn online and benefit from programs that combine flexibility with and real-world relevance.

The U.S. News & World Report Best Online Programs rankings are based on factors such as faculty credentials, student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation and student services and technology.

UC launches Bearcats Affordability Grant

The new grant will provide a pathway to tuition-free college for students of families who make less than $75,000 per year. Beginning in fall 2026, the Bearcats Affordability Grant will cover the remaining cost of tuition for Ohio residents who are Pell eligible.
