University of Cincinnati's online programs earn 16 US News rankings
UC online bachelor’s programs, education programs ranked in the Top 25
The University of Cincinnati’s online programs, including online graduate programs, earned national recognition in this year’s U.S. News & World Report awards. Receiving 16 award rankings across multiple categories, UC has once again distinguished itself as a leader in online higher education.
U.S. News ranks the overall academic quality of a university’s online bachelor’s and master’s programs. These rankings occur across various disciplines, including business, criminal justice, education, information technology and nursing.
For online bachelor’s programs and education programs, UC Online ranked in the Top 25. These overall rankings demonstrate UC’s continued commitment to excellence and innovation in online higher education.
UC’s online Master’s in Nursing progams were also recognized by US News, with the programs ranking in the Top 20. The College of Nursing reflected on what this honor means for the highly ranked degree offerings.
UC's College of Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Information Technology (CECH) shares being the most-cited college, sweeping 7 rankings this year in education, criminal justice, and information technology programs.
In addition, U.S. News releases a ranking of the best online programs for military veterans and active-duty service members; these programs are noted for providing financial benefits through federal programs, which encourages veterans to enroll in online degree programs.
UC earned Top 10 rankings for veterans' programs in each of the following categories:
- Criminal Justice
- Information Technology
- Nursing
