Jes Cornelius appointed UC Foundation Vice President of Information and Enterprise Risk
New role will focus on digital strategy and operational leadership

The University of Cincinnati Foundation is pleased to announce that Jes Cornelius is its new Vice President of Information and Enterprise Risk. Cornelius has a comprehensive background leading enterprise‑wide technology transformation, strengthening digital strategy and driving operational excellence across complex, large‑scale organizations.
In her new role, Cornelius is responsible for information and enterprise risk. This includes data management, enterprise risk management, application support, reporting, automation, technology relationship management, security and technology support. She is focused on modernizing platforms, collaborating to improve operational processes, building out capabilities to support modern architecture and developing a sustainable enterprise risk program.

Cornelius holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management and a master’s degree in organizational leadership development from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and will complete her doctorate in health administration from Oklahoma State University this upcoming May.
“As a Cincinnati native, I have witnessed the impact the Foundation has had on the community,” says Cornelius. “I am excited to be back in my hometown and honored to join the UC Foundation as part of this amazing leadership team that is focused on driving advancement and strengthening our legacy.”
Cornelius began her position on Jan. 5, 2026.
