Melissa Buckley

When I graduated from UC a few years with my Master of Science in Marketing, I walked away with more than just a degree. UC gave me a sense of community, a deeper understanding of myself, and experiences that continue to shape my career and life.

The friendships and professional relationships I developed during the program remain some of my most meaningful connections. All of those conversations, brainstorming sessions, collaborative projects and shared milestones formed a network that extends well beyond the program. The capstone project was a highlight for me, and a true testament to the power of teamwork, passion and creativity. It challenged me to stretch my thinking, apply everything I had learned, and to trust the strength of the group. That experience still influences how I approach complex projects today.

Being a Bearcat for Life means carrying that spirit forward — showing resilience, valuing collaboration, and celebrating the power of education to open new doors. I’m proud to be part of a community that continues to innovate and support one another long after graduation!
