Balwally wants to pursue a career in sports design when he graduates.

The native of Centerville, Ohio, grew up going UC football and basketball games with his dad. At the College Football Playoff, he made the graphics for social media and attended the national championship game.

Associate Professor Brianna Brailey teaches communication design and serves as a co-op adviser for the college.

“Jayden has been very involved in campus, which really opened up opportunities for him,“ she told Spectrum News.

Balwally told Spectrum News that working for the College Football Playoff at the national championship game and going to the NFL's Heisman Trophy induction ceremony in New York were experiences he will not soon forget.

“It was incredible,“ he said.

Balwally said he hopes to pursue his twin passions of sports and design after he graduates in two years.

“Being a designer somewhere is the dream,“ he said.
