UC Clermont to launch redesigned neuroinclusive business degrees
New accounting, marketing, management and business applications programs available this fall
Local 12 reported on UC Clermont College’s launch of redesigned business degree programs built with a neuroinclusive approach aimed at better supporting neurodivergent students.
Beginning this fall, the college will offer new degrees in accounting, marketing, management and business applications, with coursework designed to be more accessible for a wider range of learning styles.
The effort is led by Professor Patty Goedl, who emphasized the importance of expanding access to higher education. College leaders say the redesigned programs are intended to reach students who have often been overlooked in traditional academic models.
“The neuroinclusive program really helps us reach out to students that are typically left out of the educational process,” UC Clermont Dean Jeff Bauer told Local 12. “We're really focusing on this because we're hoping that we can reach a whole new set of students that we perhaps haven't reached in the past.”
