Ride Free UC offers free transportation options this fall

UC Metro Pass and the Bearcats Shuttle provide convenient campus travel solutions

Getting around campus and throughout Cincinnati is easier than ever with Ride Free UC offering two free transportation options available to University of Cincinnati students, faculty and staff. The UC Metro Pass Program and Bearcats Shuttle provide convenient, accessible and cost-effective ways to travel between campuses, commute to class, and explore the UC community.

Free UC Metro Pass Program

The UC Metro Pass Program provides eligible students, faculty and staff with free access to Metro fixed-route bus service throughout Greater Cincinnati, including travel between UC campuses. The program offers a convenient and sustainable transportation option for commuting.

Free Bearcats Shuttle

UC Bearcats Shuttle

The free Bearcats Shuttle provides a convenient way to travel throughout UC's Uptown campus. The 10, ADA-accessible routes circle campus, and offer quick connections to key locations, including Transit Row, where riders can connect with additional transportation services.

Designed to help students, faculty and staff move around campus more efficiently, the Bearcats Shuttle makes it easier to travel to all your campus destinations. Route information, schedules and live shuttle tracking are available through the Bearcats Shuttle Services web page.

New this fall: Metro Route 70, the UC Connector

UC Metro Route 70, UC Connector: direct weekday service between UC Uptown and UC Blue Ash

Beginning this fall, Metro Route 70, the UC Connector, will provide direct weekday service between UC Uptown and UC Blue Ash. The Metro Route 70 replaces previous years’ transportation, offering a convenient regional campus connection. Eligible students, faculty and staff can ride Route 70 at no cost through the UC Metro Program web page.
