Taft Lecturer to Discuss Public Opinion Polls

in the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) are sponsoring a lecture by David Moore, a senior fellow and political scientist at the Carsey Institute of the University of New Hampshire.

Moore will focus on how mass media-sponsored public opinion polls on issues such as health care reform and “cap and trade legislation” often undermine the democratic process in American politics and society.
