An Update on Anthem Mail Order Pharmacy

Mail order pharmacy services are provided through Anthem Home Delivery beginning in January. Anthem Home Delivery is operated by Express Scripts.

Open, active maintenance medication prescriptions (excluding prescriptions for controlled substances) were transferred from Humana to Anthem and are available for refill.

Please note that prior to requesting a refill you must establish your patient profile on

the Anthem.com site

. You will provide Anthem with payment information when establishing your profile.

You can request your initial refill by phone (call 866-216-5449 and select Option 2) or online at

Anthem.com

. Your initial refill will NOT automatically be sent to you.

You should allow seven to 14 days for delivery after you’ve requested the refill.  Automatic refills and refill reminders are available after you’ve requested your initial refill.

To contact Anthem’s customer service regarding mail order pharmacy questions, call 844-249-5372.
