New Exhibition Features Eclectic Mix of Works by UC Blue Ash Faculty

A comprehensive showcase of works created by faculty at UC Blue Ash College will be on display in a free exhibit from Jan. 16 to Feb. 27 at the UC Blue Ash Art Gallery

(located in the Old Schoolhouse at 4131 Cooper Road, Cincinnati OH 45242)

The opening reception for the "UCBA Studio Faculty Art Exhibition 2015" takes place on Friday, Jan. 16, from 5-7 p.m. at the UC Blue Ash Art Gallery. Artists will be on hand to share background about their works, and light refreshments will be provided. It is free and open to the public.

The new exhibit represents a wide range of media, stylistic approaches and creative research interests. Participating faculty members made their own selections of work for inclusion, with the disciplines of painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, video, sound recording and other forms of work represented.

The range and scope of the exhibit demonstrates the technical skills, aesthetic understanding and creative interests that faculty at UC Blue Ash bring to students in the classroom and studio. The exhibition was edited and organized by professors John Wolfer, H. Michael Sanders and Stefanie Bethuy, as well as UC co-op student Andy Marko.

The UC Blue Ash Art Gallery was founded in 2014 to serve the college and community. It provides a convenient location to appreciate the arts and celebrate the work of artists from our region and around the world. The gallery features a broad range of 2-D and 3-D media, as well as lectures, screenings and performances.
