Important Reminders on Dental Coverage, Health Savings Accounts and Pharmacy Refills

DENTAL COVERAGE

Humana will continue to be the university’s dental carrier in 2015.  The plans and employee contributions remain the same. Your Humana dental card continues to be valid. The Humana Dental customer service number is 800-233-4013.

HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT

If you elected to participate in the High Deductible Health Plan/Health Savings Account, both employer and employee contributions were deposited on Friday, Jan. 30, 2015. You can now access these funds using the Health Equity Account debit card you received at the end of December.  If you have not received your debit card or if you have questions about your account, call Health Equity at 866-346-5800.

You should log onto the Health Equity member portal (

www.HealthEquity.com

) to establish your online access.  For first-time visitors, select ‘Begin Now’ and follow the step-by-step process to verify your account.

Once you are logged in, you are encouraged to:

• name a beneficiary,
• elect to receive e-statements, and
• navigate through the portal and familiarize yourself with its features and capabilities.
  

 If you elected to transfer your funds from UMB to Health Equity, the transfer process will be complete on February 19, 2015.

PHARMACY TRANSITION

Mail order pharmacy services are provided through Anthem Home Delivery beginning in January 2015. Anthem Home Delivery is operated by Express Scripts.

Open, active maintenance medication prescriptions (excluding prescriptions for controlled substances) were transferred from Humana to Anthem and are available for refill.

Please note that prior to requesting a refill you must establish your Patient Profile on the

Anthem.com

site. You will provide Anthem with payment information when establishing your Profile.

You can request your initial refill by phone by calling (866-216-5449. Option #2) or online at Anthem.com.

Your initial refill will NOT automatically be sent to you.

You should allow 7 – 14 days for delivery after you’ve requested the refill.  Automatic refills and refill reminders are available after you’ve requested your initial refill.

(Reminder: AAUP represented faculty are not required to use ESI for refills for maintenance medications.)
