Wine & Spirits Tastings take place every first and fourth Thursday,

with the first spirit served at 5:30 p.m. Wine & Spirits Tastings include a flight of four wines and hors d’oeuvres for $20 per person.

  • June 4 & 25       Tapas & Sangrias

Mick & Mack’s Chef’s Tables take place every third Thursday,

with the first course served at 5:30 p.m. The three-course meal is paired with three distinct wines or spirits for $20 per person.

  • May 21             Everything Grilled
  • June 18            Brazilian

Ancient Maya blessed their ballcourts

Using environmental DNA analysis, researchers identified a collection of plants used in ceremonial rituals in the ancient Maya city of Yaxnohcah. The plants, known for their religious associations and medicinal properties, were discovered beneath a plaza floor upon which a ballcourt was built, suggesting the building might have been blessed or consecrated during construction.
