UC Adopts New Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Training Program
The University of Cincinnati will introduce a FERPA onboarding training program, offered through LawRoom, for all identified staff, faculty, and student workers.
As part of our commitment to student privacy, we are pleased to provide FERPA onboarding training as of June 1, 2015, to all new staff, faculty and student workers who come in contact with students education and/or treatment records, said Lorren Ratley, Director of Privacy in the Office of General Counsel.
Identified new UC staff, faculty, and student workers will receive an email with a link to directions about how to access the required programs via LawRoom. Existing faculty and staff may request additional FERPA training by contacting Lorren Ratley:

A local couple has found a unique way to give back to those in need this holiday season. Vic and Laura Troha wrote two children's books together, and this year, they are using the proceeds to buy Christmas gifts for Hamilton County foster kids. The couple are both graduates of the University of Cincinnati's College of Allied Health Sciences and met the day they graduated.
