Human Resources to Launch New Onboarding Module Oct. 1
Human Resources is continually looking to improve processes in terms of efficiency and value. In February, the department implemented SuccessFactors Recruitment Management and in April, Recruitment Marketing.
Studies indicate that an effective process that engages new hires early on significantly decreases the likelihood of turnover within the first year. To that end, Human Resources will be enhancing the new-hire experience and will launch a new onboarding module October 1, 2015. One of the goals is to have the flexibility to meet customer needs by onboarding new hires any day of the week. The enhanced process will get relevant information to candidates prior to their start day and connect them with the right people to provide a positive experience from the start.
In August, more detailed communications will be distributed throughout the university.
