UC Blood Drive Helps to Save 2,850-Plus Lives
University of Cincinnati students, faculty and staff rolled up their sleeves the week of Nov. 30 to help save lives in their community with blood donations.
The event was a huge success registering 1,234 blood donors and collecting 953 lifesaving products which will help to save over 2,850 lives in Tri-State hospitals, reports Alecia Lipton, public information officer. The UC Blood Drive came at a critical time as we need to stock the shelves with blood products prior to the holidays and winter months.
The next All Campus UC Blood Drive is scheduled for Feb. 1-5 in the Great Hall of TUC.
