Rock Your New Year s Resolution! New Cultural Fitness Classes at UC s Campus Recreation Center
Beginning spring semester 2016, University of Cincinnatis Campus Recreation Center (CRC) introduces five new fitness classes. CRC now offers:
- African Dance: Based upon the rhythmical music styles of African dance, African Dance is a fun and energetic dance-technique and cardio class. African dance class includes working on core strength, stretch, stamina, grounding, community building and rhythmic sensibility.
- Bollywood: Inspired by high-energy Indian music, Bollywood combines traditional Indian folk and classical dance with contemporary movement like hip hop, jazz, Latin and Bellydance. Bollywood students learn technique and choreography that incorporate rhythmic, full-body movement.
- Evolution of BEY: The Evolution of BEY class provides 12 weeks of Beyoncé-inspired hip hop dance.
- MMA Conditioning: Initially created for Mixed Martial Arts fighter training, MMA Conditioning is a full-body workout that increases strength and stamina while getting in better shape overall.

Yoga Balances and Inversions: Increase balance and upper body strength, while relieving stress with the Yoga Balances and Inversions class. It is a fun and challenging way to reinvigorate body circulation.
Classes start at $5 per class. Class space is limited, and based upon availability.
