UC to Host Valentine s Dinner Feb. 12

Couples will be treated to a romantic dinner for $45,

featuring appetizers, salad, an entrée choice and a delectable trio of desserts.

Valentine’s Dinner Menu:

Appetizers:

  • Diver Scallop with Creamy Mashed Potatoes and Brown Butter Caper Sauce
  • Caramelized Onion Tart with Lemon Crème and Applewood-smoked Bacon
  • Goat Cheese Salad with Strawberry Balsamic Vinaigrette

Entrees:

  • Lemon & Herb Chicken with Truffle Honey-glazed Roasted Baby Carrots and Wild Rice
  • Blackened Skirt Steak with Blue Cheese Crème and Cilantro Salsa, Herb-roasted Red Potatoes, Winter Vegetable Medley
  • Baked Cheese Tortellini, Roasted Mushrooms, Spinach and Artichokes, Fresh Mozzarella, Grilled Focaccia

Desserts:

  • Red Velvet Cake with Strawberry Glaze
  • Chocolate Mousse with Fresh Raspberries and Blackberries
  • Lemon Cheesecake with Candied Lemon

To set the mood, each couple will receive a fresh-cut rose upon entry.

UC College-Conservatory of Music Dean Pete Jutras has announced the appointment of Kenneth Renshaw as CCM's new Assistant Professor of Violin. His faculty appointment officially begins on Aug. 15, 2025. Born and raised in San Francisco, Renshaw came to international attention in 2012 after winning First Prize at the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition in Beijing. He was also a prize winner in the Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competition of Belgium, and First Prize recipient of the inaugural Manhattan International Concert Artists Competition.
