UC Clermont Names Vivian Scott One Stop Student Services Director
UC Clermont College recently named Vivian Scott Director of One Stop Student Services.
One Stop Student Services is a students source center for financial aid, student accounts, registration and records.
Scott comes to UC Clermont with 12 years of student services experience from institutions in Ohio and Florida. Her experience includes academic advising, career services, academic support, registration, student accounts and financial aid.
I love students, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to create a center that will be responsive to their needs. Empowering them to handle their registration and financial issues will aid in retention, as well as give our students skills that will benefit them throughout their academic career if they choose to continue their education beyond UC Clermont, said Scott.
Scott has been with the University of Cincinnati since 2013 and has held positions as assistant director/program director in the Gen-1 Theme House and financial literacy & training manager in One Stop Student Services at the Uptown Campus. In her One Stop role, she was responsible for training staff in the areas of registration/records, student accounts/collections, and financial aid.
She also spearheaded UCan Manage It, a campus-wide financial literacy program, designed to increase student awareness regarding their personal and educational finances.
Scott is a native of Cleveland, where she earned Bachelors and Masters degrees from Cleveland State University. She is a divorced mother of three adult children and a grandmother of two boys. She is an avid baker, and professes her specialty to be Red Velvet Cake.
