Volunteers Needed for Spring Commencement

Members of the University of Cincinnati community are encouraged to volunteer at the Spring Commencement ceremony celebrating the spring 2016 graduates.

The Commencement event will be celebrated at four ceremonies, all held in Fifth Third Arena:

  • 10 a.m., Friday, April 29: Doctoral Hooding and Master’s Recognition Ceremony
  • 3 p.m., Friday, April 29: Ceremony celebrating undergraduates in the Colleges of Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Engineering & Applied Science and UC Blue Ash
  • 9 a.m., Saturday, April 30: Ceremony celebrating undergraduates in the Colleges of Business, College-Conservatory of Music and Education, Criminal Justice and Human Services
  • 2 p.m., Saturday, April 30: Ceremony celebrating undergraduates in the Colleges of DAAP, Arts & Sciences and UC Clermont

Volunteers are asked to serve for a few hours. Responsibilities may include serving as guides, providing directions to campus guests, assisting individuals with limited mobility, assisting in lining up graduates to march, holding doors for processions and other important duties.
