Business Students Host Entrepreneurs Day at UC Clermont - April 13

UC Clermont College’s Student Business Organization PACE is hosting the First Annual Entrepreneur Day on Wednesday, April 13 in the Krueger Auditorium on campus. 

 

“This day brings creative, successful people together to share their passion and how they launched their business models. It’s a great opportunity for our students and community to be inspired by their stories,” said Assistant Professor of Business Management and Marketing Jay Page and PACE faculty advisor.   

 

The event is free and open to the public. 

 

Agenda: 

8:30 – 9 am – Registration 

9 – 9:50 am – Opening Session - Andrew Hughes, Founder of Designing Digitally, and Jonah Sandler Founder and CEO of Scene75 Entertainment.

10 – 10:50 am - Nader Masadeh, President and CEO of Buffalo Wings & Rings and recently appeared on CBS’s Undercover Boss.

11 am – 12:15 pm – “Women in Entrepreneurship” Tom+Chee’s Jenn Quackenbush, Co-Founder and Head of Franchise Development & Jenny Rachford, Co-Founder and of Head of HR.  

12:15 – 1:30 pm- Food Truck lunch Contini’s Pizza or Subway (lunch not included) 

1:30 –2:30 pm – So You Want to Start a Small Business? Anthony Contini – Contini’s Pizza, Kyle Young, Subway, Tracie Hawkins, Clermont Chamber, Andrew Hughes, Designing Digitally

Queen City Clay on display at UC Clermont

Artists from Cincinnati-based Queen City Clay will display their work in a new exhibit, “Eighteen Years in Service,” April 1-June 27 in the University of Cincinnati Clermont College Art Gallery. The artists will also be on hand for a reception Friday, April 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. All UC Clermont Art Gallery events are free and open to the public.
