UC Medical Students Offer Healthy Recipes and Samples For Kroger Shoppers
COVINGTON, KY— What do hot sweet potato fries, crunchy pretzel wands and a scoop of banana ice cream all have common?
Dan Petronio, associate director of the Center for Great Neighborhoods, says the center's partnership with UC is advancing its efforts to improve health in Covington through the Plan4Health initiative, which seeks to identify and improve access to, and consumption of healthy food, particularly fruits and vegetables for people with limited means.
