President Ono's Statement on Governor Kasich's State of the State Address
"Governor Kasichs leadership on college affordability has been constant since the day he assumed the Office. His support and vision, along with our legislative leaders, to provide Ohioans an opportunity to reach their full potential through an affordable 21st century education is greatly appreciated and is shared by the University of Cincinnati. We are making significant progress by holding the line on tuition, implementing cost efficiencies, and serving as a workforce leader in providing our students co-op and internship opportunities. I applaud the governors acknowledgment of the importance of not just STEM education but STEAM science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics/medicine.
