UC Sales Team Finishes in the Top 15 in National Collegiate Sales Competition
Varsity Sales Team members Brianna Goumballe, BBA '16, Kristen Sutcliff, BBA '16, and Demetrius Kinney, BBA '16, from the University of Cincinnati's Carl H. Lindner College of Business finished 15th in the National Collegiate Sales Competition in Kennesaw, Georgia. This marks the second consecutive year the UC team finished in the Top 15 in the nation.
Sixty-five competitors from 20 university sales programs around the country worked on selling ADP payroll systems. ADP is the signature corporate sponsor for the event. "The customer scenarios change with each round of the competition," says Jane Sojka, professor educator of marketing. "Only the top two finisher from each heat advance to the next round where they face a new customer and new problems. Both of our competitors advanced to the next round."
