Ohio Cyber Range Institute brings cybersecurity challenge to UC campus and across Ohio

The Ohio Cyber Range Institute (OCRI) will host its annual statewide Capture the Flag competition here at UC and across Ohio. OCRI’s cybersecurity challenge, called Capture Ohio ’26: OCRI Statewide Capture the Flag (CTF), takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2026, connecting students across Ohio for a coordinated day of hands‑on cyber learning.

Hoxworth CEO José Cancelas receives Hispanic Heritage Award

Hoxworth Blood Center to halt blood collections September 14 and 15 to launch new innovative donor software program

Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, will not be collecting blood Wednesday, September 14 and Thursday, September 15 as the blood center transitions its data to a new computer system to better serve blood donors and hospital partners. Hoxworth’s seven Neighborhood Donor Centers, as well as its mobile blood drive operations, will cease blood collections on those two days as a team of IT specialists from BBCS move Hoxworth’s donor data to a new computer system called ABO SuiteTM.
