A New Look for Employee Self Service

Employee Self Service (ESS) has a new look and new features!

  • A new color scheme of blue and white is the first noticeable change.
  • The overview screen has new features designed to simplify navigation.
  • Various screen options are available to find transactions.
  • Additional security features.

Map Screen

- The Map screen is similar to the previous version of ESS with two added features.

  • Related Links provides links to HR sites and information commonly used by employees.
  • Most Frequently Used shows links to the transactions within ESS an individual employee utilizes the most, eliminating the need to find them within specific pages.

Directory Screen

- The Directory Screen provides a summary of the transactions available in each section.  Related Links and Most Frequently Used are available here as well.

  • Click directly on the link and a drop down menu of transaction options appears.

Index Screen

– the Index screen provides an alphabetical view of all transactions available in ESS.

  • Click directly on the link of a transaction to navigate to that transaction’s page

New Security

– Additional security features have been put into the following transactions in an effort to protect your personal data.

  • Bank Account Information - Bank account numbers are now masked (*** followed by the last 4 digits of the account number). In order to change the bank account, employees will be required to enter the last four digits of their Social Security Number

  • W-2s - In order to access the online W-2, employees will be required to enter the last four digits of their Social Security Number

  • Adding or Changing Family Members, Dependents and Beneficiaries - In order to add or change a family member, dependent, or beneficiary, employees will be required to enter the last four digits of their Social Security Number. The Social Security Numbers of all family members, dependents and beneficiaries are masked (*******followed by the last 4 digits of the SSN).

So later he did, with $200 in his pocket, and began a career that has spanned acting, directing, producing—pretty much everything with the exception of costumes (“I’m not really good with a sewing machine,” he says).
