UC-Hosted OVALS Conference Advances Water Technologies

The OVALS conference is a

“must”

for anyone who is part of the water ecosystem, and is interested in technology commercialization, collaboration opportunities, national and global water agendas and creating economic impact.

This year’s OVALS conference brings leading research universities together, along with industry and federal agencies to address a topic that affects all aspects of society: water. This includes university inventors, technology transfer professionals, corporate scientists, investors, incubators, accelerators and entrepreneurs.

The OVALS Conference has been, and continues to be, an important forum for exposure to national leaders, opening up strategic dialogues, expanding opportunities and networking to arrive at bigger concepts. Discussions include: potential solutions through new disruptive technological development, as well as including collaboration opportunities in order to take on challenging regional current and growing threats.

The conference will begin with the

OVALS University Water Technologies—Solutions Showcase: Thursday, Feb. 16

. Eligible students, faculty and staff from the OVALS membership will present their technology via table/poster to the water community, and be judged by a group of local water industry representatives and entrepreneurs. See the
