UC Serves Returns May 19
This years 4th Annual UC Serves event is scheduled for
Friday, May 19,
and offers a variety of service options within surrounding UC campus communities, allowing participants to choose a preferred volunteering experience that suits their interests. Maybe you have a knack for gardening, enjoy painting, or perhaps youre handy with a hammer and nailits your choice how you participate.
Last years UC Serves event saw more than 350 UC faculty and staff volunteers taking part in over 43 projects and logging more than 2,000 hours of collective community service hours. We hope

Its almost that time of year againwhere UC faculty and staff come together for an alternative workday of community service and cross-unit relationship building.
at the African American Cultural and Resource Center (60 W. Charlton St.), where you can stop by between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to pick up your registration packet, t-shirt, and meet your service team.
If you intend to participate, check with your supervisor about necessary adjustments to your work schedule. Also, please note that UC Serves is intended as a day to meet and work with new, friendly faces across the university. Since volunteer spaces are limited, registration will take place from March 6April 24 on a first come, first-served basis;
