Become an eLearning Champion for Chance to Win $500
UC eLearning is accepting monthly nominations for faculty members as a part of its eLearning Champions initiative. This initiative seeks to engage with and recognize instructors at the university who go above and beyond when it comes to integrating eLearning technology and resources into their classrooms.
eLearning Champions promote innovation and collaboration in and out of the classroom. They model new techniques, best practices, tools, ideas, and more in an effort to provide UC students with a successful, 21st-century learning experience.
An eLearning Champion exemplifies one of more of the follow criteria:
- Goes out of their way to seamlessly integrate Canopy tools into their courses.
- Exhibits great growth in their use of canopy tools to support their learners in new ways.Is an early adopter of new tools and technology in the classroom.
- Is involved in the eLearning community—attends Canopy Speaker Series, workshops, trainings, and/or other events put on by the Center for Excellence in eLearning—and shares gained experiences with their colleges and colleagues.
- Champions the use of emerging technology and existing Canopy tools.
This initiative, sponsored by the Office of the Provost, grants eLearning Champions the opportunity to be featured in the Canopy newsletter and UC News. Champions will also receive a $500 cash prize.
All nominations are due by the first of each month. Nominees who are not selected for the month in which they are nominated may still be considered for future awards.
