UC's ArtsWave Campaign Extended Through March 17

ArtsWave is focused on the many ways the arts fuel creativity and learning for kids across the region. The funded arts organizations provided nearly 186,000 arts experiences in three out of every five schools across the region.

Numerous studies have revealed the amazing benefits of Arts in Education. Children exposed to drama, music and dance are often more proficient at reading, writing and math. Arts education helps raise test scores, improve visual analysis skills and helps students make better critical judgments. The arts are a connection to the larger world and community cohesion.

We encourage your support of ArtsWave. It's not only a way to cultivate our vibrant community; it's an opportunity to impact future generations and future Bearcats.

Please join your colleagues and me in supporting UC's ArtsWave Campaign, which runs through March 17. Contributions large and small are appreciated, and making a pledge is simple and only takes a minute of your time.

Also, donations received by March 17 are eligible to win FC Cincinnati tickets, complimentary CCM tickets or UC swag.

Let's keep the momentum going. Please pledge today!

Another fun aspect of ArtsWave is CincySings. For three years, CincySings has leveraged the power of the arts to create community. The sing-offs that lead up to CincySings have become a staple at some of the region's largest businesses, including University of Cincinnati, P&G and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Building on Cincinnati's rich choral history, CincySings raises support for the arts in our community and builds connections among coworkers.

This year the "HarmoniCATS" will represent UC at ArtsWave's CincySings Semi-Finals on Sunday, March 19, 3-5 p.m. Jarson Kaplan Theatre at The Aronoff Center for the Perfoming Arts.

Ticket are only $5 and seating is reserved so get your tickets now.
