Local Artists, Entrepreneurs Display Work at UC Clermont in "Creative Juice: A Group Exhibition"
The Park National Bank Art Gallery at UC Clermont College will feature the work of 21 local artists in a new show titled, Creative Juice: A Group Exhibition. The exhibit will run May 1 through June 28, with an opening reception held Friday, May 5 from 68 p.m.
The innovative show will include both 2-D and 3-D pieces in a wide range of media, including acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, fabric, photography, linocut and woodcut.
When I look at the work in the show, I see artists who have seen things that no one else has seen before. Something about their subjects resonated with them, and each work is a glimpse into who they are. It is as if they have brought a piece of themselves into being, said artist Vanessa Sorensen, organizer for the exhibit. Our Creative Juice group is about being a part of a community that encourages this process, and this show displays the amazing outcome.
