UC Honors Presents 'It's Dubai Time!'

The University of Cincinnati’s Honors Program, in conjunction with the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP), the School of Art and DAAP Galleries, are pleased to present an exhibition of work created by students and faculty who participated in the 2017 Study Tour course, Dubai: Art and Culture. 

Students participating in the course are currently enrolled in the Lindner College of Business, College of Engineering and Applied Science, College of Allied Health Sciences, College-Conservatory of Music, McMicken College of Arts & Sciences and DAAP. 

The students and faculty will present work in a variety of modes, materials and means that will provide an in-depth look into the course, the 10-day study tour to the United Arab Emirates and focus on each participant's area of research. 

The reception for the exhibition will be held in the Meyers Gallery on MainStreet in the Steger Student Life Center, 4-6 p.m. Saturday, May 13. The gallery is located near the Starbucks on MainStreet adjacent to Nippert Stadium and the Campus Recreation Center.

DAAP to offer new online micro-credential starting fall 2026

The Design Strategy Micro-Credential will focus on research and practical strategies to help create products, services and systems that are easier to use, more inclusive, more appealing and more meaningful. It will be fully online, offering students a flexible option to work through two three credit hour classes in six weeks. Students will complete the six credit hours of coursework completely in their own time.
