Free Event Focuses on 'Money for Grad School: What s Happening in Congress?'

Federal student financial aid currently is among the hot topics on Capitol Hill.  Congress is in the process of reauthorizing the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA), and considering making significant changes, including:

  • eliminating the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
  • eliminating work/study for graduate students; and
  • capping federal loans for graduate school.

What do these proposals mean for graduate education?

University of Cincinnati College of Law alumnus Chris Chapman’93, CEO of AccessLex, and former U.S. Representative Steve Driehaus will answer those questions and more. All are invited to join us for this lively discussion. Coffee and dessert will be available.

This event will be held on Thursday, Feb. 15 at 12:10 p.m. in the Crow’s Nest (3rd Floor) at the law school. All are invited and encouraged to attend.
